Weekly YG
YG meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 - 8:00 pm. We get to spend time all together with our middle and high school youth group friends enjoying laughter and games, a snack, a chance to catch up by sharing "highs and lows" from the past week, and time spent exploring God's word and learning more about our faith together. Our current topic at YG is true stories of God working in people’s lives!
Youth Group is a place where you can talk about things that matter with people who care!
Anyone in grades 6 - 12 is welcome at all of our Youth Group events.
Special Events
Game Nights:
We host Game Nights roughly once per month for anyone in grades 6 - 12. Game Nights are a great chance to unwind, have fun, and make friends! We get together from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, and serve pizza, popcorn, lemonade, and a dessert. Our next Game Night is Friday, April 25.
Deep Freeze:
Spending the weekend at camp together is a great chance to get away from the stresses and pressures of life for a few days. At Camp Berea we get to make new friends or deepen the friendships we have, make great memories together, enjoy excellent live worship music, play basketball, go tubing, do a polar plunge call “The Deep Freeze Dive” (if you want to!), learn from the camp's speaker about following Jesus, and take time to talk about faith and life together. Not only is Deep Freeze a refreshing and fun getaway, but it shows us that when we make space for God to work in our lives, He shows up!
Mission Trips:
Each summer, we serve on a week-long mission trip! This represents a great opportunity to put our faith into action, grow closer to one another, and to deepen our relationship with God. This year’s trip is taking place Sunday, July 6 - Saturday, July 12, and we will be serving with Next Step Ministries in the Boston Area! Next Step has long-term relationships with different non-profits and ministries in the area. Registration for this trip is now closed, but please consider praying for this year’s team as we prepare to serve this summer!

Service Opportunities
Putting our faith into action is important to us! Roughly once per month, we get together to serve others. Our next service opportunity is our spring work day at WPC on Saturday, May 17th starting at 8:00 am - we will clean up the church grounds and so some cleaning and organizing projects indoors as well! In May, we will visit Northeast Arc in Danvers to help lead Bingo on Saturday, June 14th, in the afternoon.
Anyone is welcome to join us in serving, and we can verify your hours for school.
