Third Discernment Gathering

You are invited and encouraged to participate in the third Discernment Gathering this Wednesday, March 18, 6:00 pm, as we explore our personal walk with Christ and our congregation’s walk with Christ together. Through scripture, conversation, and prayer, we will listen for how God is leading us. An activity table will be available for younger children.
Our third gathering, “God’s Will for Us” (John 21:15-19), will center on these questions:
·       What is Jesus asking you?
·       What is Jesus wanting you to do?
·       What is Jesus wanting us (WPC) to do?
·       How can WPC be supportive of you in your following Jesus?
·       How can WPC become more faithful and true to God’s call?
We will share a potluck meal together.  Please bring an entrée or side dish to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided. We hope you will join us for this meaningful time of fellowship and reflection as we seek to be “Keeping in Step with the Spirit.”

A Night of Praise – March 28, 6:00 pm

You’re invited to A Night of Praise, March 28, 6:00 pm, for a dynamic evening of contemporary worship led by the gifted young musicians of our church. Experience powerful music, heartfelt worship, and a spirit of joy.
New visitors please join Will at 5:00 pm for a simple meal and conversation in Fellowship Hall to learn more about WPC and explore membership. Then head up to the Sanctuary for the worship service.

Ongoing Weekly Events

Youth Group

YG meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 pm - 8:00 pm throughout the school year. Anyone in grades 6 - 12 is invited to come enjoy laughter and games, a snack, a chance to catch up by sharing "highs and lows" from the past week, and to spend time exploring God's word and learning more about our faith together. Youth Group is a place where you can talk about things that matter with people who care! Learn more about YG
Women's Book Study

The Women’s Virtual Book Discussion will soon begin reading: The Shack, written by William P. Young. We share a love of reading, enjoy discussing books and praying for each other. We meet virtually on the first and third Monday of every month from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Learn more
Worship Services

We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 9:30 am! The service includes singing, prayers, greeting time, ministry moments, a children’s chat, readings from the Bible, and preaching. Learn more about attending a worship service.
Sunday School

Starting Sunday, September 14th!
We have Sunday School during the worship service for kids in preschool - 5th grade! Kids start the morning out in the big worship service with their families, and are dismissed for Sunday School after our Children’s Chat. We get to enjoy Bible stories, crafts, and even games during our time together! And at the end of church, kids are picked up from the classroom. Learn more
Nursery Care

We provide nursery care during our worship service every Sunday morning for infants and children ages 0 - 3. Our Nursery Caretaker, Nancy Lynch, and a team of dedicated volunteers provide care and age-appropriate opportunities to learn about God each week. Learn more
Women's Bible Study

Starting Tuesday, September 2nd!
This study meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am in the library and is currently studying the Christmas story, with a focus on the women involved.
Men's Bible Study

Beginning Tuesday, January 13th, a new study subject will begin. We will be looking at the letter of James using Sam Allberry’s book, James For You. Wait a minute; James? Doesn’t he contradict Paul? Didn’t Martin Luther think it was as pithy as straw and should be removed from the canon? Well come learn with us what Jesus’ half brother has to say about living practically following the teachings of Christ.
We will meet at 7:00 pm in the Adult Christian Ed room, across from the Church Library. Contact Jim Morton for more information.
Music and Prayer Time

Join us on Tuesdays at 9:00 am in the church sanctuary. This time for prayer and worship, led by David Mora, is a great way to begin your day with reflection and peace.
Exploring the Scriptures

Our small groups meet on Wednesday nights via Zoom, studying questions on the coming Sunday's Scripture text.

GriefShare

Weekly GriefShare meetings, hosted at Windham Presbyterian Church, are held on Mondays from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. You may join at any time, and many return for more than one session. There is a small fee to cover the cost of the workbook; scholarships are available.

High School Hangouts

These monthly get togethers for High School Students take place on the second Sunday of each month, and are a great opportunity for fellowship and good conversation. We do field trips, cook together, and enjoy other activities and experiences as a group! Anyone in grades 9 - 12 is invited to join.
