Sunday School
Children in preschool through grade 6 are welcome to join us during worship for age-appropriate opportunities to learn, make friends, and grow in faith.
Grades PreK - 3rd: Wonder Ink
Kids in Preschool - 3rd grade are invited to come explore what the Bible has to say about these four big ideas:
God knows me. Jesus loves me. The Holy Spirit leads me. I am a child of God.
Each week, we start with a curiosity question that leads us into God’s Big Story. We engage with a different Bible story each week, and see what they teach us about God and ourselves. We pray for each other, and think about the story some more with a craft, game, or activity!
And parents - you can find activities and resources to use at home with your kids! When you create an account, you can log into Wonder Ink anytime to dive deeper into what we are learning in Sunday School.
Grades 4 - 6: Bible GPS
This course will give an overview of the big-picture timeline and story of the whole Bible. This class will be led my Mike Hutchings and Katie Everett. For our Bible GPS class, Mike will be providing take-home material, in case students miss a week, would like to explore more deeply, or you would like to talk with your child about what they are learning - please reach out if you have a child in grades 4 - 6 and would like to be added to the email list!
Communion Sundays
On the first Sunday of each month, children of all ages remain in the worship service. On these weeks we provide coloring and activity pages that relate to the sermon topic, and we aim to make the service kid-friendly! We believe that being present in worship at a young age helps children to become life-long worshipers!
All Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers undergo a nation-wide background check prior to serving, and again on an annual basis.
Family Events
We love getting children and families together throughout the year!
Join us st our next event:
Family Fire Pit Night! Sunday, October 4th, 6:00 - 7:30 pm! Come spend time hanging out around the fire and enjoying good company. S’mores supplies will be provided, and you are welcome to bring dinner or other treats to cook over the fire! Children of all ages are welcome.

Church Camp
At this year’s Illumination Station Church Camp, we got to shine a light on who Jesus really is! Church Camp is always a great opportunity to spend time together while learning about God, dancing, creating crafts, playing games, sharing snacks, and engaging with thoughtful teaching about our partners in service and about the Bible. Church Camp is also a great opportunity to make new friends.
Students entering grades K – 6 are invited to camp. Our 2027 camp week will be June 28 – July 1, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm each day, with an optional lunch hour until 1:00 pm.
