Paul Goodell - Emmaus House

Picture
Paul Goodell is our second home-grown missionary. Paul works at Emmaus Ministries in Chicago, a consciously evangelical and ecumenical work of the Kingdom that focuses on one of the most under-reached populations in America: male street prostitutes. His main responsibility at Emmaus is to raise funds for the ministry, which allows their staff to share the love of Jesus with hundreds of men every year. More . . .

Craig Snow - War, West Virginia

Picture
Craig Snow currently serves Hope Force as the director of their work in the area around War, West Virginia, in one of the poorest counties in the US. Previously he directed their efforts to bring Christ’s healing to the community of east Biloxi, MS, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The work in West Virginia  primarily serves the elderly, handicapped individuals and single mothers. Craig & Beckie now live in Nashville. When disaster strikes (hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes), anywhere around the world, Craig will also be a first responder who lays the groundwork for more volunteers to come and serve. Most recently he responded to the flooding in Vermont following Hurricane Irene. For more information on Hope Force go to  www.hopeforce.org   For more information on Craig Snow click here.

Operation Back Home

Picture
Operation Back Home is a ministry within our church that exists to assist local families of individuals who are currently deployed overseas with the US military. Our assistance may include practical help such as clothing or furniture, or financial assistance. Letters and care packages, including Bibles, have also been sent to soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Items are collected to include in these care packages. The names of soldiers from our area, or connected to our congregation in some way, are posted to encourage prayer and letter writing.

Maghan Grahn Perez

Picture
Maghan’s work with Intervarsity is focused on helping college and university campuses to develop a ministry specifically designed for student athletes.  Her initial work at UNH  included Bible studies and prayer groups in team locker rooms, “Investigating God”  groups for seekers, and local and international mission trips. She is now helping campuses all across the country to have a targeted outreach to student athletes. We have been supporting Maghan since 2006.
