Friday, March 16th, was our pasta dinner fundraiser for the high school mission trip to West Virginia. The dinner went from 5-7 pm, and was available by donation. Why cook on Friday night? A hearty meal was enjoyed for a worthwhile cause. In conjunction with the pasta dinner, this year we held a raffle. The youth committee put together themed baskets to be raffled off with all proceeds going toward the mission trip. Some of the baskets being raffled were: 2 Front Row Bruins tickets (3/19 Game), $50 Restaurant Gift Certificates, 3 Lift Tickets to Mt Snow (2012 season only), Coffee Baskets and Gift Certificates, Doggie Delights by Woof it Down, 2 hours of Electrical Service by a Master Electrician, and more. With the donations for the dinner and proceeds from the raffle, an amount almost double of what was needed was raised for the West Virginia trip!! |
