Nursery

We have a safe and loving nursery staff ready to take care of children birth through three. Denise LaRoche and her daughter Katie have been tenderly caring for our smallest members for many years now. The are assisted by volunteers from the congregation.

In the nursery they sing and dance, blow bubbles, play and color – experiencing God’s love through the tender care provided, and beginning to learn about God and Jesus through stories, music and simple crafts.

Pre-Kindergarten

From age three or a little after, until starting Kindergarten, our children are introduced to the Bible and the wonderful stories it holds in the Pre-Kindergarten class. These busy children work on sharing, taking turns and listening as they begin to learn about prayer and about God and His Son, Jesus.

We welcome all children to these and all of our Sunday School programs. Our staff and volunteers will work with you on any separation issues. They are adept at quieting and comforting these little ones. Be assured that if your child remains in distress after you leave that we will come get you. We invite parents to put their cell phones on “vibrate” and leave their number with the nursery staff. If you don’t have a phone, just watch the sanctuary door to the Fellowship Hallway for a Nursery or Pre-K volunteer. We’ll give you a little wave if your child needs you.
